WPI Hockey
The WPI hockey team, which includes ten Fiji’s, has entered a tournament at the DCU center, right in Worcester. They have advanced to the championship game against Assumption College to be played on April 4th. In their most recent win, WPI came from behind to tie the game at 2 late in third period. WPI won in a shoot out 2-1, with one of the goals being scored by Brother Jay Breindel (2009). Breindel also represented WPI and Fiji by playing in the league all star game where he had two goals and five assists.

Relay For life
On April 21st, Fiji will be participating in the Relay for Life, which is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The Relay for life is an all day and night event to honor cancer survivors, pay tribute to the lives lost to the disease, and to raise money to help fight it. If you would like to donate, please visit their website. The brother’s team is captained by Chris Paulli and the pledges team is captained Dan Moussette. The school has already raised over $22,000 and any little bit more helps.

Air Force and Army ROTC award ceremony
Fiji was well represented this year at the combined Air Force and Army ROTC award ceremony. Mike Pierce (2007), Kyle Gauthier (2008), Justin Colby (2010) and Dan McHugh (2010) are members of the Air Force ROTC along with Mitch Riley (2009) and Adam Cartier (2010) in the Army ROTC. The award ceremony recognized the best cadets from each branch for their performance over the school year. Five out of the six Fiji’s received awards. Mike Pierce was the Wing Commander, highest ranking cadet for the Air Force Detachment for the first semester this year. Brother Gauthier received several awards and with his current success looks to do the same next year.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Years to all of Fiji land! With the new year comes the final semester for the seniors and the introduction of the new pledge class. This year Fiji successfully recruited 13 new members. With only four seniors graduating the house stands to continue its steady growth.

Homecoming 2006!
Homecoming is once again upon us. Homecoming is lead by a full week of Greek events on campus known as "Greek Week". Saturdy October 2nd, 2006 WPI and Ole' 99 will be hosting a number of events centered around the Homecoming football game against Union College. The day should be full of memorable events so be sure to stop by the FIJI BBQ that will be taking place outside of the Morgan residential hall. After the festivities up the hill be sure to head back to 99 Salisbury for food and entertainment.

Dinner Golf Tournament were huge successes! This
year's tournament was held at Townsend
Ridge Country Club, in Townsend, MA.

Fors for an amazing day of golf and all 97 golfers
who participated in the tournament. Jamie Carlson,

running such a successful golf tournament year in
